Shelley Skas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and also holds a Type 73 certification in school counseling. Shelley’s areas of expertise are addressing emotional and behavioral problems. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents.  She also provides CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for teens and adults.

Theresa Workman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master’s Degree from Aurora University. Theresa’s experience includes working with at-risk youth and their families. In addition, Theresa has over eight years’ experience working with traumatized adolescents, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and issues related to grief and loss. Theresa brings a creative approach to working with her clients as a means to establish therapeutic rapport.

Stephanie Kelderhouse
Stephanie Kelderhouse OTR/L
Licensed Occupational Therapist

Stephanie has always had an overwhelming passion to work in the field of healthcare serving others who want to live more fulfilling and independent lives. She is a strong disability rights advocate, and has been volunteering with persons with disabilities since she was a young girl. Stephanie graduated from the MUSC with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy- eager and ready to continue growing her clinical abilities as an OT. Across her schooling and career, she has gained clinical experience in the fields of acute care, SNF, pediatrics, and mental health. Her areas of continuing education for working with children or adolescents include: sensory integration, SOS Approach to Feeding, trauma-informed care, Social Thinking, self-regulation, Handwriting Without Tears, DIR Floortime, etc. She is very passionate about evidence-based practice as well, and feel that the best way to ensure positive outcomes for our clients is by basing her practice off proven methods. Stephanie’s mission as an OT is to ensure not just her client’s functional improvements, but that they walk away feeling like their quality of life and overall well-being has improved as well!

Erin Glim OTR/L
Licensed Occupational Therapist

Erin has had a passion for helping those with disabilities her entire life. As a child, she would help assist her sickly grandmother in performing everyday tasks like eating and dressing that most of us take for granted. Erin innately had a caring and patient disposition and knew she wanted to spend her life helping others. At 17 she discovered the profession of Occupational Therapy and never looked back. She received her Master’s from Saint Louis University in 2014 and became a traveling therapist so she could better understand different lifestyles and cultures. She gained clinical experience in SNF, schools, outpatient pediatrics, mental health and acute settings. After traveling for almost 2 years, she decided to focus on pediatric setting to specialize in children with autism. She is passionate about sensory integration, evidence based practice, and movement therapy. She believes that every person deserves the highest quality of life and will do whatever she can to ensure her clients are able to attain just that.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Patrick O’Malley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Illinois State University. Patrick has been working with adults and children with disabilities for the past 10 years.

Melissa Lofton MA BCBA  
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst

Melissa Lofton holds a Masters Degree in Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University. After obtaining her master’s degree, Melissa continued her schooling and completed coursework through Southern Illinois University’s Behavior Analysis and Therapy Program to sit for the board certification as a board certified behavior analyst. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dominican University. Melissa has been working with children and adults with disabilities in various capacities including in home, vocational settings, and recreational settings for over 15 years. Melissa grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and currently lives in western suburbs of Chicago with her family. When Melissa is not working she enjoys running and spending time with her son and husband.

Brian Alhorn MA BCBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst 

Brian Alhorn is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He received his Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Brian has been in the Applied Behavior Analysis field since 2006. Brian has experience working with both children and adults. He has extensive experience working with dually diagnosed adults ages 21 to the elderly. He has worked with these individuals in day programs, Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes. His experience also includes working with children and adolescents, ages 4 to 20, in their home and school environments.

Focus Areas:

·      ABA therapy for children and adults (ages 3-elderly)

·      Completing assessments (AFLS, ABLLS, VB-MAPP)

·      Programming focusing on decreasing Maladaptive Behaviors

·      Programming focusing on adaptive skills (communication, activities of daily living, social skills, academics, etc.)
